Wave of Polls That Should Terrify Reps. Boebert, Evans, Hurd & Crank After Voting to Gut Health Care

By Oct 20, 2026No Comments

Washington D.C. – A flurry of recent polling confirms that health care is still dominating voters’ concerns after Donald Trump and Republicans like U.S. Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO-4), Gabe Evans (R-CO-8), Jeff Hurd (R-CO-3) and Jeff Crank (R-CO-5) robbed $1 trillion from Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act to bankroll tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations. The chickens are coming home to roost for the GOP after manufacturing a health care affordability crisis — forcing premiums to skyrocket by 25%, millions to lose coverage, and hundreds of hospitals to close. Now, 60% of Americans cite health care as a top economic concern and 32% of Americans worry every day or almost every day about the cost of health care.

At the same time, a recent POLITICO poll revealed that the One Big Beautiful Bill is proving to be the GOP’s ‘big ugly’ failure, with only 30% of respondents expressing support for the legislation. It’s no wonder why. SEE: USA Today: ‘Trump’s policies raised costs for all but the top 1%, report says’

“In 14 days, Reps. Boebert, Evans, Hurd and Crank will face the music for helping Donald Trump make the largest cuts to health care in U.S. history just so billionaires and greedy corporations could bank more tax breaks,” said Brad Woodhouse, president of Save My Care. “These Republicans don’t bother to defend their vote to reward the richest 1% by punishing working people with higher premiums and less health coverage — because there is no defense.”
